Composite Bonding

What is Composite

If you have chipped, discoloured or uneven teeth, composite bonding may be an affordable option for you to improve your smile and regain your confidence. It’s often less than half the cost of porcelain veneers and can still provide you with an incredible result.

The process

In this initial appointment your dentist will first assess if you are a good candidate for bonding. If yes, we will perform a digital scan and take photos and ask you questions about what you want to achieve in your smile.

Then our inhouse laboratory goes to work to make the magic happen

Trial Smile

Now that your new smile has been digitally designed, we let you assess it by doing a mockup in your mouth using temporary materials. This allows you to get an idea of what the finished result will look like. If you like what you see, we will move onto step 3

Composite Bonding

Final step is when we place the composite bonding on your teeth and give you your new smile. We use specialised digitally produced stents to copy our digital smile design and then spend plenty of time polishing your new composite veneers to make them dazzle.
All treatment carries risks. Individual consultations are required with one of our practitioners to ensure that the treatment is right for you. Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.

Composite bonding is when a dentist uses white filling material to reshape, recontour or change the colour of your teeth. With recent advances in composite filling strength and digital smile design technologies, this can be a conservative and life changing option to address your smile concerns

Dental bonding is an affordable solution for smile makeovers and can cost from as little as $67 a week over 12 months for your upper front teeth. Every case is different so please contact us for queries or book in with your dentist to get an exact quote.

Composite bonding is a short to medium term treatment option for your smile. If you have experienced chips in the past you may require an occlusal splint to protect your composite veneers or may need to transition to porcelain crowns or veneers in the future. However many patients get years out of composite bonding if they look after them well and keep up their regular dental checkup and cleaning appointments.
